Corporate Responsibility

SunGard is a respected leader in our industry in part because we have earned our reputation as an ethical company. We have built our reputation on the sound business choices that our managers and employees made in the past. Our future reputation will be determined by the actions we take today and in the future. At SunGard we believe that the critical mandate of any company is to maximize its value. We do that by adhering to our ethical values, by pursuing profitable growth opportunities, by investing in our future and by serving our customers as effectively as possible. We have a corporate responsibility to our investors, employees and to the communities and environment in which we work.

Investors
The importance of corporate governance has increased dramatically in recent years, and in our view, effective corporate governance means independent oversight and accountability to our investors. Our chief compliance officer supervises a business conduct and compliance program, and we encourage employees to report suspected infractions of our policies via e-mail or an anonymous hotline.

Employees
We attract employees with a strong work ethic and we compensate them with competitive salaries and benefits, and with performance rewards for exceptional achievement. Creating a diverse workforce is an important ideal to which we aspire and we employ a global workforce with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We value diversity and believe that it is a source of competitive advantage, particularly as a global company with global customers. Naturally, we comply with the laws and regulations mandating equal opportunity and non-discrimination. But our company culture goes beyond that and demands respect and fair treatment for all employees. The Board of Directors of SunGard Data Systems Inc. has adopted a Global Business Conduct and Compliance Program to provide its employees with clear guidelines for conduct as a representative of the Company. This Compliance Program incorporates a code of ethics for all employees, officers, directors and other representatives of the Company and applies to each of those individuals without exception.

Communities
SunGard's corporate philanthropic projects typically involve the provision of technology resources on a pro bono basis to aid charitable organizations. We favor opportunities where there is a good fit between an organization's technology requirements and our ability to make an impact.

SunGard is also proud of its many employees who are active in their communities. The company encourages local volunteerism and SunGard employees are actively involved in their communities through volunteer activities, organized and managed at a local level. For example, the activities of our employees support several organizations such as, the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, TeamChildren.com and the Philadelphia Academy.

Environment
We recognize that every business organization has an impact on the local and global environment. As a global employer, we have many offices worldwide and are a substantial consumer of technology, energy to power our offices and data centers and fuel to support global business travel. Through our Sustainability Policy, we encourage our employees and managers to take action in their workplaces and business operations to reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency and use available technology to reduce business travel.
